[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our priority in both offices is the safety of our family, patients, and staff.  So, Dr. Khoury has invested in some high-tech equipment and implemented some aggressive measures to help us treat patients safely during the COVID pandemic.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

  1. UV Robots will be introduced after every patient to sterilize each room with high output UVC for 10 minutes (Image 1)
  2. Room turnover has been changed to 30 minutes between patients (20 minutes after UV sterilization)
  3. UV air disinfection was installed in the HVACs with air scrubbing technology (Images 2 and 3)
  4. Air suction vacuum with four levels of filtration will be used next to patients to capture any aerosol (Images 4, 5)
  5. UV Sterilization cabinets have been added for quick disinfection to be used by staff and patients for masks, keys, and any item that could withstand UVC without damage (Image 6)
  6. Air purifiers with True Hepa filters have been added in each room to create surgically clean air (Images 7, 8)
  7. All consents, and financials are now done online using Docusign and other software
  8. No waiting room time with a maximum of two patients in the whole office at one time
  9. Our reusable gowns and scrubs are now cleaned with a medical laundry service with HLAC certification
  10. We converted high speed handpieces to surgical handpieces use by utilizing our dental implant motors which allow us to control water disbursement (with no air use thereby minimizing any aerosol)
  11. Our hygienists will use hand instruments only till then end of the year (and avoid using ultrasonic scaling machines which normally generate aerosols) even though we have aerosol vacuums.
